Lynne Finley

Lynne Finley is a Texas native who has lived and practiced law in Collin County for more than 26 years. Elected to office in 2016, Clerk Finley knows the District Court system and has worked in criminal, civil and family law including General Counsel and Risk Manager positions for large corporations. Her experience gives her a strong foundation to serve the people of Collin County as their District Clerk. She combines legal and business knowledge with conservative values and civic and charitable activities. 

Mrs. Finley has served on the Legislative Committee for the County and District Clerk Associations of Texas (CDCAT) and is in her second term as the Committee Chairman for CDCAT. Clerk Finley served on the Texas Judicial Council Justice Committee’s Advisory Board at the request of the Texas Supreme Court with a mission towards providing access to justice. Mrs. Finley is active in numerous civic and community organizations. 

Mrs. Finley has served as a speaker on numerous topics from the duties of the District Clerk, new technologies in the practice of law, and county government in Texas at the request of the Office of Court Administration, Tyler Technologies, CDCAT, The District Court Alliance, Collin College, SMU Law School, and local high schools.
